Job Description

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) is seeking experienced professionals for the position of Assistant Manager / Associate Manager – Credit Administration Department. The role focuses on ensuring effective credit documentation, security perfection, regulatory compliance, and post-approval credit administration while maintaining robust internal controls and timely support to business and risk management functions.

Responsibilities

Ensure sanction letters are issued in line with approved terms and relevant policies; prepare LDCL and ensure completion of documentation before allowing credit limits.
Obtain legal opinions and coordinate drafting, vetting, review, and finalization of mortgage, pari-passu, syndication, and other security documents with internal or enlisted legal counsel.
Arrange registration and execution of mortgage charges, irrevocable general power of attorney, and creation, modification, redemption, or vacation of charges, including all formalities with RJSC&F.
Ensure security files and documents are properly archived and maintained under the Bank's safe custody; periodically review and follow up on pending documents and issues.
Escalate intricate or high-risk issues to management for timely resolution.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Address and resolve internal and external audit observations related to credit administration.
Maintain close liaison with Credit Risk Management, Business Segments, Legal, ICC, and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery.
Maintain trackers for documentation deferrals, call reports, stock reports, stock inspection reports, SRO tokens, insurance policies, land tax/holding tax, and other security-related matters.
Proactively minimize documentation deferrals, monitor credit exposures, and provide regular updates to the Unit Head and Head of Credit Administration Department.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

4–8 years of banking experience, preferably in centralized Credit Administration or related functions in a reputed commercial bank.Strong knowledge of credit administration, regulatory guidelines, credit policies, and risk management frameworks.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.Excellent management and coordination abilities.High integrity with the ability to work under pressure and complete assignments within stipulated timelines.
