Masala Bazaar Retails Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager, Procurement to lead the company`s procurement operations. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring the timely availability of quality goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.
Plan and manage the overall procurement activities of the company.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
Obtain competitive quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, sales, and finance teams to meet procurement requirements.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and office supplies.
Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and better sourcing opportunities.
Analyze market trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure purchased items meet company quality standards and specifications.
Coordinate import procurement and related documentation when required.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and management reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and applicable regulations.
Lead, supervise, and develop the procurement team.
Resolve supplier issues and procurement-related challenges promptly.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Age At most 35 yearsOnly Male Strong negotiation and commercial management skills.Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP software.Sound understanding of procurement policies, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations.Knowledge of import procedures, LC operations, customs regulations, and commercial documentation will be an advantage.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.Excellent organizational and planning skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Willingness to travel within Bangladesh whenever required.
