Job Description

Lead and oversee the execution of System Audits, Information Technology (IT) Audits, and General Banking Audits across branches, divisions, departments, and business units in accordance with the approved Annual Audit Plan, ensuring compliance with professional audit standards and regulatory requirements.
Plan, supervise, and review audit engagements, ensuring the timely preparation and submission of comprehensive audit reports with well-supported findings, risk assessments, practical recommendations, and executive summaries for senior management and the competent authority.
Lead special audits, investigations, fraud reviews, and management-assigned assignments, providing independent assessments and actionable recommendations to mitigate operational, financial, and technology-related risks.
Drive the adoption of modern audit methodologies by leveraging data analytics, continuous auditing techniques, and technology-enabled audit tools to enhance audit coverage, efficiency, and overall effectiveness.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, IT governance, cybersecurity controls, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management frameworks, identifying control gaps and recommending sustainable risk mitigation measures.
Monitor and validate the implementation of agreed audit recommendations through structured follow-up reviews, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and reporting the status of significant issues to senior management and relevant committees.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to promote a strong governance, risk management, and compliance culture while maintaining the independence and objectivity of the internal audit function.
Support the Head of Group Internal Control & Compliance in developing risk-based audit strategies, strengthening the internal control environment, and implementing continuous improvements to audit processes and methodologies.
Perform any other responsibilities or strategic assignments related to internal audit, IT audit, risk management, governance, and compliance as assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements

Experience on System Audit / IT Audit Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CPISI, or other relevant certifications will be considered an added advantage. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and control weaknesses through data analysis. Excellent report writing, documentation, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively. Sound understanding of information systems, IT controls, cybersecurity, and risk management principles. Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
