We are seeking dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professionals for the position of Duty Manager (Operations) to ensure smooth hospital operations and exceptional patient service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day hospital operations during assigned shifts.

  • Ensure smooth coordination among all clinical, nursing, diagnostic, pharmacy, housekeeping, security, and support service departments.

  • Monitor patient admission, transfer, discharge, and service delivery processes to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.

  • Handle patient and attendant complaints, concerns, and service recovery initiatives promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, operational protocols, safety standards, and quality assurance requirements.

  • Coordinate emergency situations and support crisis management activities.

  • Supervise front desk, customer service, hospitality, and support staff to ensure professional conduct and service excellence.

  • Prepare daily operational reports and communicate key issues to hospital management.

  • Monitor cleanliness, security, maintenance, and overall patient environment throughout the hospital.

  • Assist management in implementing operational improvements and service excellence initiatives.

  • Maintain effective communication with consultants, department heads, and hospital administration.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospital operations, administration, customer service, or healthcare management. Experience in a reputed hospital or healthcare institution will be given preference. Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and decision-making capability under pressure. Sound knowledge of hospital operations and patient service management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation. Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
