Pharmacist (Grade- A)

• Ensure full compliance with DGDA and Model Pharmacy accreditation guidelines.

• Implement and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for dispensing, storage, temperature monitoring, controlled drugs, near-expiry handling, and recalls.

• Cooperate in DGDA inspections, internal audits, and Model Pharmacy supervision visits.

• Handle prescriptions (checking for legibility) before dispensing.

• Provide structured patient counselling.

• Maintain records as required for Model Pharmacy (e.g., temperature logbook, purchase/sale register, antibiotic and controlled drug register).

• Ensure medicines are stored according to manufacturer and DGDA requirements.

• Implement FEFO (first expiry first out) inventory management.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of the dispensing and storage areas.

• Supervise B-grade and C-grade pharmacy technicians.

• Allocate daily tasks (dispensing, counselling, inventory checks, housekeeping, etc.).

• Forecast medicine demand in collaboration with the Supply Chain team, considering seasonal patterns and prescribing trends.

• Check and verify incoming stock (quantity, batch number, expiry date, registration status).

• Maintain and regularly reconcile stock records.

• Provide health education on common conditions where applicable.

• Respect patient privacy and confidentiality in counselling and record.

• Use pharmacy management software or POS systems for e-prescriptions, billing, inventory, and patient record management.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Hospital & Health Care Sector.Competent in using computers and hospital front desk software or appointment systems.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively in both Bengali and English.
