Manager & Assistant Manager - Supply Chain & Procurement

About the Company: Premier Printing Press is a state-of-the-art high-speed web-offset printing facility of Omicon Group, equipped with advanced Heidelberg technology, two high-speed presses, and fully automated Muller Martini binding lines. The company is rapidly scaling toward becoming one of Bangladesh`s leading export-oriented book manufacturing and printing organizations with future expansion plans in global markets and public listing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of procurement, sourcing, and supply chain for paper, ink, chemicals, machine spares and finishing materials.

• Develop and implement Japanese JIT (Just-In-Time) operational systems adapted from the Toyota Production System to ensure maximum efficiency and waste minimization.

• Vendor sourcing, development, negotiation and management of local & international suppliers.

• Execute cost optimization initiatives and value engineering across procurement and logistics operations.

• Ensure uninterrupted raw material availability for high-volume book production and export operations.

• Coordinate closely with Production, Quality Control, Finance, Logistics and Factory Operations teams.

• Maintain supplier ecosystem control and operational discipline aligned with Omicon operational architecture.

• Prepare procurement reports, comparative statements and supply chain performance analysis for management review.

4-8+ years of practical experience in Supply Chain, Procurement & Vendor Management.Manufacturing, printing, packaging, FMCG or industrial sector experience will receive preference.Strong analytical, negotiation, reporting and stakeholder management capability required.Experience in lean manufacturing/JIT systems implementation will be considered an added advantage.
