Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) is seeking an accomplished banking professional for the position of Regional Head – Branch Banking Division (Chattogram Region). The role is responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, customer experience, and risk management across the region. The incumbent will provide strategic leadership to branch teams, ensuring achievement of business objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
Drive regional business growth through proactive business development initiatives, branch engagement, customer acquisition strategies, and lead generation activities.
Monitor branch performance against established KPIs and provide guidance, coaching, and support to Branch Managers and Relationship Managers to enhance productivity and profitability.
Develop and execute regional business strategies to drive growth in deposits, loans, retail products, and fee-based income.
Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of business and profitability targets across the region.
Monitor branch productivity and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer service standards.
Oversee portfolio quality and asset performance by monitoring delinquency trends, supporting recovery initiatives, and ensuring effective management of non-performing loans (NPLs).
Support effective risk management practices and maintain portfolio quality across branches.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to strengthen the Bank’s presence within the region.
Coach, mentor, and develop Branch Managers and regional teams to enhance performance and leadership capabilities.
Monitor operational risks and ensure adherence to service quality, control standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management.
Minimum 12–15 years of banking experience, including significant exposure to Branch Banking and Retail Banking.At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple branches.Strong leadership and people management skills.Strategic planning and execution capabilities.Business development and relationship management expertise.Sound knowledge of banking operations, risk management, and regulatory requirements.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
