Teacher - BRAC Academy

The BRAC Education Programme has expanded its reputed primary school network, BRAC Academy, and currently operates eight campuses across the country - Dhaka, Bogura, Noakhali, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Jashore, and Cumilla, along with Sylhet.

We are looking for passionate teachers who will inspire students and contribute to growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging lessons following the BRAC Academy guidelines.

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.

• Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.

• Support co-curricular activities.

• Collaborate with colleagues and Head Teacher for academic development.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Freshers are encouraged to apply.Good communication skills in Bangla and English.Ability to manage classrooms and engage young learners.Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet).
