Job Description

Maintenance Technician

Major Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and repair of various electrical equipment such as motors, generators, transformers, and other equipment and work according to electrical codes and standards.
Identify and repair electrical faults, including short circuits, overload issues, and other electrical problems.
Read and analyze electrical blueprints and circuit diagrams.
Operate and use different electrical and biomedical tools and technologies efficiently.
Perform load calculations and power distribution management to ensure proper electrical usage and supply.
Follow all electrical safety protocols to ensure workplace safety for all employees.
Maintain and monitor all electrical systems regularly to ensure smooth and safe operation.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

Age 20 to 28 years • Trade course training with relevant experience. • Hands-on skill in electrical, Electromedical and biomedical.• Strong problem solving and technical skills with readiness to work extended hours.• Team management and team work with different level of staff.• Ability and willingness to travel to secondary hospitals and vision centers located at different parts of the country.• Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety standards relevant to engineering and maintenance activities, and applicable hospital management regulations.• Has good physical strength and stamina.• Computer literacy & expertise in software handling.• Excellent communication (written and oral) and relationship management skills.
