We are looking for a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage our hospital's pharmacy operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of medications to patients, maintaining rigorous inventory controls, and providing expert advice to patients and medical staff regarding drug usage and safety.
Key Responsibilities
● Accurate Dispensing: Dispense medications accurately based on prescriptions, ensuring the correct dosage and form for every patient.
● Inventory Management: Manage drug inventory and storage, ensuring medications are stored under appropriate conditions (e.g., temperature control) and monitoring expiration dates.
● Patient Counseling: Advise patients and medical staff on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug-to-drug interactions to ensure patient safety.
● Clinical Collaboration: Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to clarify prescriptions and provide pharmacological insights.
● Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of all medications dispensed, particularly for controlled substances, in accordance with legal and hospital regulations.
Age 30 to 50 years ● 2–5 years of experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment.● In-depth knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug chemistry, and medical terminology.● Exceptional attention to detail to prevent medication errors.● Strong communication skills for patient education and inter-departmental collaboration.● High level of integrity and professional ethics regarding drug handling.
