Assistant General Manager - Planning (Garments Division)

• Lead and manage the overall planning activities of the Garments Division.

• Prepare and monitor monthly, weekly, and daily production plans to ensure on-time shipment.

• Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, IE, Quality, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams for smooth execution of orders.

• Monitor production progress and take proactive measures to resolve any planning or production bottlenecks.

• Ensure optimum utilization of production capacity and resources.

• Analyze order loading, line capacity, production efficiency, and shipment schedules.

• Follow up on the order critical path from PP meeting to final shipment.

• Develop effective production planning strategies to reduce lead time and improve delivery performance.

• Prepare production status reports and present planning updates to management.

• Lead, guide, and develop the planning team to achieve departmental goals.

• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and factory production commitments.

Age At least 35 years At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or senior management role in the Planning department.Strong knowledge of garments production planning, capacity booking, line loading, shipment planning, and workflow management.Sound understanding of knit garments manufacturing processes.Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production planning tools.Strong communication and team management abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight shipment deadlines.
