Job Description

Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with departmental heads, ensuring realistic and performance-driven targets.
  • Drive financial forecasting, scenario planning, and variance analysis to support leadership decision-making.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior management on a regular basis.

Financial Reporting & Accounting:

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations using Zoho Books, including chart of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, and closing cycles.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements — P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Maintain MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, talent fee disbursements, and vendor bill management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all transactions including media buys, talent contracts, brand deals, and operational expenses.

Tax, VAT & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Manage all aspects of VAT filing, income tax, withholding tax, and other applicable statutory obligations.
  • Ensure full compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and proactively implement required adjustments.

Treasury & Cash Management:

  • Monitor and manage daily cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Oversee fund transfers, payment scheduling, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage fixed deposits, short-term investments, and other treasury instruments as applicable.

Import, LC & Trade Finance:

  • Handle all documentation and processes related to import licenses and Letter of Credit (LC).
  • Coordinate with banks and suppliers on LC issuance, amendment, and settlement.
  • Ensure full compliance with import regulations and trade finance requirements.
  • Manage import costing, duty calculations, and accurate expense booking.

Operational Finance & Cost Control:

  • Monitor operational expenditures across all departments and identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices, expense claims, purchase orders, and payment requests.
  • Establish and enforce internal financial controls, approval workflows, and accounting policies.
  • Track project-wise profitability and campaign-level cost management across all agency activities.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the preparation of annual operating budgets in collaboration with all department heads.
  • Conduct regular budget vs. actual reviews and present findings with commentary to management.
  • Build financial models to evaluate new business proposals, talent deals, and media projects.
  • Identify trends and risks early and recommend corrective actions to stay on track.

Legal & Compliance Support:

  • Provide financial oversight and review input on client contracts, talent agreements, vendor agreements, and NDAs.
  • Liaise with legal counsel on matters relating to financial compliance, regulatory filings, and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure the company's financial practices are fully aligned with applicable corporate laws and industry regulations.
  • Support company secretarial functions and legal documentation requirements as needed.

Payroll & Employee Benefits:

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing for all employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, incentives, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for management and auditors.

Job Requirements

Age 28 to 40 yearsOnly Male 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts.Hands-on proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books, Tally or similar).Strong knowledge of VAT, income tax, withholding tax, and local regulatory compliance.Experience handling imports documentation, LC processing, and trade finance.Solid understanding of treasury operations, cash flow management, and banking relationships.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools.Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, creative environment.
