Job Description

Role Objective:

Motivated and experienced English language teaching professional seeking the role of Academic Manager (Senior Teacher) at British Council to lead teacher development, ensure academic excellence, and deliver inclusive, learner-centred English language programmes through effective mentoring, quality assurance, and strong academic leadership.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years` post-diploma teaching experience.CELTA/Trinity, DELTA/Trinity Diploma TESOL or equivalent.Strong experience in teacher training and academic coordination.Excellent English proficiency (CEFR C2 level preferred).Experience teaching young learners, adults, IELTS, and corporate classes.Relevant Master`s degree and academic management experience preferred.Required Skills:Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills.Ability to motivate learners and create inclusive environments.Effective assessment, feedback, and resource management skills. Strong professional values and leadership capability.
