SKS Project Manager - ASR for EMWG Project

Job Context

SKS Foundation in partnership with MJF is going to implement the `Action for Socio-economic Security & Rights for Excluded & Marginalized Women and Girls (ASR for EMWG) project in Gobindagonj, Saghata and Gaibandha Sadar Upazila under Gaibandha District. The mentioned position will be recruited for implementing the project interventions.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Understanding on livelihood issues and food security, project implementation strategy and concept.
• Strong coordination and networking skill with District, and Upazila level GO, NGO officials and private sector actors.
• PM is responsible for planning, budgeting and guiding for overall implementation of the project, will guide for financial management and field monitoring of the project
• Keep liaison, coordination with all stakeholders and presentation of the project at all level.
• S/he will ensure union wise planning, keeping consistency with the project implementation plan.
• Coordinate with public and private service providers for ensuring accountable services for the project participants.
• Explore the opportunities of financial support from local microfinance institutions to the project participants for income generation.
• S/he will guide Project Officers to get effective linkage with youth development centres, technical training centres for providing technical skill building to the target participants.
• PM will ensure relevant study, monitoring, reports and annual audit of the project as per plan.

• Masters in Social Science or any other relevant disciplines.

Experience Requirements

At least 8 year(s)

Job Requirements

• At least 8-10 years working experience in NGO/development sector including 5 years' experience in managerial positions.
• Having experiences of managing project implementation on thematic areas of rights and social justice, gender development and VAW protection issues, social inclusion, women empowerment; good governance, monitoring and staff supervision.
• Skilled in report writing and operation of Microsoft office application.
• willing to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
