SKS Project Officer - POWER (Re- Advertisement)

Job Context

SKS Foundation in partnership with ActionAid Bangladesh has been implementing the POWER Project from January 2016 to December 2020 in Gaibandha & Lalmonirhat district for increasing the income of 5000 women in Bangladesh and their ability to control their income, through practicing climate resilient sustainable agriculture (CRSA), accessing markets and reducing, recognizing and redistributing unpaid care work (UCW) by 2020. The mentioned position will be recruited for implementing the project interventions:

Job Description / Responsibility

• Having experience in working on unpaid care work, value chain, sustainable agriculture are added value.
• Should have experience on: Community mobilisation align with the project objective;
• CBO development
• Facilitating and conducting training and workshop and training module development;
• On and off farm intervention for creating livelihood opportunities for women living in poverty;
• Market linkage; Maintain linkage and networking with different stakeholders and networks;
• Working with local government and Govt. Services institutions to advocate for creating women access to services and resources;
• Monitoring of project activities.
