Job Description

About the Role: Bombay Sweets & Co. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Market Research & Business Development Executive professional to join our expanding frozen, dairy & spices division. If you have a proven track record of breaking into frozen, dairy & spices markets, building institutional relationships, and driving revenue growth in the FMCG sector, we want to hear from you.

You will be responsible for identifying new market research, business development, handle corporate clients to expanding our frozen, spices and dairy product footprint.

Job Description –

Market Research & Analysis

Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
Research industry developments, competitors, products, pricing, and market positioning.
Identify potential target markets, customer segments, and business prospects.
Collect, analyze, and interpret market and customer data.
Prepare market research reports, competitor analysis, and business opportunity reports.
Monitor changes in customer behavior, market demand, and industry trends.
Provide actionable market insights to support business and marketing strategies.

Business Development

Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, online platforms, referrals, and other channels.
Generate, qualify, and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and business leads.
Contact prospective clients through email, phone calls, meetings, and other communication channels.
Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to develop suitable solutions.
Prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations, and other client-facing documents.
Arrange and participate in client meetings and business discussions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Follow up with prospects regularly and support the conversion of leads into business.
Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, meetings, follow-ups, and business opportunities.
Support the development and implementation of business development strategies.
Achieve assigned business development and lead-generation targets.

Reporting & Coordination

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on market research, lead generation, client meetings, and business development activities.
Track sales/business development activities and maintain in database.
Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and other relevant departments.
Provide management with regular updates on market opportunities, competitor activities, and potential risks.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Age 22 to 36 yearsOnly Male Proven experience, specifically within the FMCG sector.Minimum 2 years of active experience in market research & business development. Experience in frozen food, dairy & spices food Service industries are highly preferred.Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication skills in both Bengali and English. Proven ability to navigate market research & business development. Self-motivated with a strong result-oriented mindset. Marketing research & Marketing Strategic, Business development, Business Planning. Candidates should have the mentality to travel frequently outside Dhaka for research purposes.
