Job Description

Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Manager/ Deputy Manager – SCM. The role is critical in ensuring smooth end-to-end supply chain operations, driving efficiency, and aligning supply chain strategies with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Procurement: Execute the acquisition of raw and packaging materials from both local and international suppliers to ensure a steady supply for production.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials, utilizing inventory management tools to prevent shortages and overstock situations.

  • Supplier Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop new sources of raw and packaging materials to diversify the supply base and reduce dependency on single suppliers.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to achieve the best possible cost, quality, and delivery performance.

  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the logistics of material transportation, ensuring timely delivery while minimizing costs and mitigating risks associated with transportation.

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all procured materials meet the required standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Financial Liaison: Liaise with banks and financial institutions for managing letters of credit, trade finance, and other procurement-related financial transactions.

  • Insurance Coordination: Work with insurance companies to manage risk and ensure adequate coverage for shipments, inventory, and other supply chain activities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with other organizational divisions, such as production, quality control, and sales, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

Job Requirements

Age 28 to 45 years Proven track record of leading end-to-end supply chain operations in a dynamic industry.Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, international trade regulations, and customs compliance.Hands-on experience in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization.High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
