Job Description

This role is responsible for identifying, originating, structuring, and managing eligible portfolios to maximize participation in various refinance and pre-finance schemes offered by Bangladesh Bank, SME Foundation, and other donor agencies.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop eligible customers and portfolios under various refinance and pre-finance schemes to maximize scheme fund utilization for the bank.
Create awareness among the SME & Agri Banking team regarding available schemes, eligibility criteria, guidelines, and operational requirements.
Achieve the assigned refinance and pre-finance business targets in line with the approved business plan.
Manage and process refinance claims and ensure timely submission, settlement, and collection of funds from Bangladesh Bank, SME Foundation, and other relevant agencies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Bangladesh Bank, SME Foundation, donor agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth processing and fund realization.
Ensure timely repayment and settlement of refinance scheme obligations in coordination with relevant business and operational teams.
Coordinate with branches and relevant stakeholders for Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory inspections, including both pre- and post-inspection requirements.
Maintain and preserve all relevant circulars, guidelines, agreements, records, claims, and documentation related to refinance and pre-finance schemes.
Prepare and submit Letters of Interest/Intent (LOI) for applicable schemes within the stipulated timelines.
Ensure timely completion and execution of PFI agreements and other required documentation for all applicable schemes.
Monitor the overall scheme-wise portfolio, utilization, outstanding position, repayment status, claims, and fund realization to ensure effective management of the portfolio.

Job Requirements

Age At least 24 years Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in managing various refinance schemes under SMESPD, ACD, FID, and other relevant regulatory schemes in a bank or non-bank financial institution.Strong understanding of refinance scheme guidelines, eligibility criteria, documentation, claims processing, fund disbursement, and repayment mechanisms.
