Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable enterprise applications and digital solutions.
Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JSF and Microservices architecture.
Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular, React, Node.js, or related modern frameworks.
Develop and integrate microservices using REST Client, OpenFeign/Feign Client, HTTP Client and other API communication mechanisms.
Design, develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate internal and external systems through secure and reliable service-to-service communication.
Implement API integration, error handling, timeout management, logging and exception handling for distributed applications.
Containerize applications using Docker and perform application deployment, configuration and troubleshooting in Docker-based environments.
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, secure and well-documented code following software development best practices.
Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization and root-cause analysis.
Work with relational and/or Oracle databases and develop efficient SQL queries.
Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment and production support.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps, infrastructure and other technology teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, system improvements and continuous enhancement of existing applications.

Required Qualifications & Experience

2-5 years of relevant professional experience in software development, application development or full-stack development.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, JSF and REST API development.
Practical experience in Microservices architecture and distributed application development.
Hands-on experience with REST Client, Feign Client/OpenFeign, HTTP Client and service-to-service API communication.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, API integration, authentication, exception handling and API troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of Node.js, Angular, React or other modern frontend/backend frameworks will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive web application development.
Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, database design and query optimization.
Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Docker-based application deployment.
Understanding of Git/version control, CI/CD, application deployment and software development best practices.
Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, system integration and software architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines or DevOps tools will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
Candidates with experience in banking, financial services, payment systems, digital banking or other enterprise applications will have an added advantage.
