ROLE OVERVIEW
The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely transactions, supporting month-end closing activities and assisting in preparing financial reports to ensure smooth financial operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions.
Maintain cash book, bank reconciliation and general ledger.
Prepare and process payments, receipts and journal entries.
Maintain and update accounting records and supporting documents.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial reports and statements as required.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
Coordinate with auditors and other departments for financial matters.
Support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Reports To: Head of Accounts & Finance
Department: Accounts & Finance
3–4 years of relevant experience in Accounts or Finance.Good knowledge of accounting principles and Tally/Accounting Software.Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication skills and teamwork ability.Honest, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
