The Operations Manager plays a central role in ensuring that Travels Care delivers consistent, high-quality travel experiences to clients. This role sits between the front-line sales/customer service teams and senior management, translating business goals into smooth day-to-day execution. The position requires balancing operational efficiency, cost control, vendor relationships, and customer satisfaction often under time-sensitive conditions (flight delays, booking changes, last-minute client requests, etc.).
- Oversee daily travel operations: bookings, ticketing, itineraries, and confirmations
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and vendors for service delivery
- Supervise, train, and manage performance of operations staff
- Develop and enforce SOPs to improve operational efficiency
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and negotiate vendor rates
- Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve service disruptions
- Ensure compliance with travel regulations, licensing, and safety standards
- Prepare operational performance reports for senior management
- Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Manage key vendor/partner relationships and contract negotiations
