- Conduct systematic monitoring of publicly available online sources, including websites, social media platforms, online forums, digital advertisements, news outlets, and public databases.
- Identify and document online content relating to migrant smuggling, irregular migration, facilitation services, document fraud, recruitment practices, and other migration-related risks.
- Monitor online activities of migration intermediaries, recruitment agents, education consultants, travel agencies, and other relevant actors operating within migration pathways.
- Track emerging trends, methods, narratives, and online behaviours relevant to migrant smuggling and trafficking risks.
2.Digital Research and Analysis
- Conduct targeted digital research on migration routes, facilitation practices, recruitment methods, and associated actors.
- Analyse online information to identify patterns, trends, connections, and indicators of potentially suspicious activities.
- Support mapping of online networks, digital platforms, and publicly visible actors involved in migration-related services.
- Assist in the development of profiles, trend analyses, and thematic research products.
- Contribute to evidence generation relating to migration facilitation practices and document fraud risks.
3.Data Collection and Information Management
- Collect, organise, and maintain information gathered from open-source research activities.
- Support the use of digital tools and appropriate technologies to improve information collection and analysis processes.
- Maintain databases and information management systems in accordance with organisational policies.
- Ensure information is accurately recorded, verified, and appropriately referenced.
4.Reporting and Knowledge Products
- Produce analytical reports, briefing notes, research summaries, and information products.
- Contribute to intelligence and evidence reports generated under the project.
- Present findings to project staff and relevant stakeholders as required.
- Support the preparation of awareness materials and evidence-based advocacy products.
5.Compliance and Safeguarding
- Ensure all research activities comply with legal, ethical, safeguarding, and data protection requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Adhere to Justice and Care policies and procedures at all times.
