Job Description

Job Context:

Abul Khair Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager in the Civil Construction department. This role involves overseeing and managing structural and civil construction projects within our manufacturing facility operations in Laksham, Cumilla. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical expertise in industrial construction, strong leadership skills, and a proven track role in ensuring project efficiency and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

Execute civil construction works as per approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Study and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, material requisitions, and monitor material consumption.
Develop and monitor project work schedules to ensure timely completion.
Ensure quality control by maintaining compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
Supervise ongoing construction activities and coordinate upcoming projects to ensure smooth execution.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues.
Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Job Requirements

Age At least 28 yearsOnly Male Educational Qualification:B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any reputed Public University.Experience Requirements:Minimum 8 years of active experience in civil construction.Must have hands-on experience in the construction of factory/plant infrastructure within a manufacturing company.Experience in managing industrial construction projects from planning to execution will be considered an advantage.Required Competencies:Sound knowledge of industrial construction practices, structural engineering, and construction methodologies.Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, estimation, and project scheduling.Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage contractors, site teams, and multiple construction activities simultaneously.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant engineering software will be an added advantage.Willingness to reside and work permanently at the project site in Laksham, Cumilla.
