Pharmacist In Charge- Type A

The Pharmacist-in-Charge (Type A) is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and lawful operation of the Model Pharmacy in compliance with the regulations and guidelines We are looking for interested candidates as Pharmacist for Unique Healthcare Pharma (Model Pharmacy), who has initiative, experience in the following sector, drive, and self-motivation to take on challenges to deliver high-quality results.

a. Regulatory Compliance

i. Ensure the pharmacy operates in full compliance with Model Pharmacy guidelines.

ii. Maintain and renew all required pharmacy licenses and regulatory documents.

iii. Ensure only registered and authorized medicines are procured, stored, and dispensed.

iv. Prepare for and facilitate regulatory inspections and audits.

b. Pharmacy Operations

i. Supervise day-to-day pharmacy activities.

ii. Verify and dispense prescription medicines accurately.

iii. Monitor prescription validity and resolve medication-related issues with prescribers when necessary.

c. Inventory Management

i. Oversee storage, and inventory control of medicines and medical supplies.

ii. Monitor stock levels and expiry dates.

iii. Implement inventory practices.

iv. Minimize stock loss, wastage, and expired products.

d. Quality Assurance

i. Ensure medicines are stored according to manufacturer recommendations.

ii. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the pharmacy.

iii. Report and manage medication errors or adverse drug events according to company procedures.

e. Team Leadership

i. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy sales and support staff.

ii. Train employees on regulatory requirements, and customer service.

iii. Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor performance.

iv. Foster a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.

f. Customer Service

i. Address customer concerns professionally

a. Adaptabilityb. Ability to measure substances accurately.c. Strong communication skills.d. Ability to detect and investigate mistakes in a patient's medications and prescriptions.e. In-depth knowledge of drugs and their potential side effects.
