Responsibilities & Context
Market Strategy & Business Development
Develop and implement an annual business plan and marketing strategy tailored specifically to the Indian market.
Identify and evaluate potential cities and regions for market entry, expansion, and distribution network setup.
Conduct competitive benchmarking against leading Indian and international furniture brands.
Forecast annual and quarterly sales targets; prepare and manage budgets for Indian operations.
Sales & Distribution Management
Establish and manage a robust network of distributors, dealers, and multi-brand outlets (MBOs) across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.
Identify and onboard channel partners who align with HATIL’s brand values.
Monitor partner performance and provide training, support, and marketing collateral to achieve targets.
Explore and manage Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) and shop-in-shop concepts in high-footfall locations.
Drive project sales by engaging architects, interior designers, hotels, and corporate clients for bulk contracts.
Brand Management & Communication
Adapt global campaigns to suit the Indian cultural context and consumer preferences.
Plan and execute BTL activities, including exhibitions (e.g., Index, AceTech), events, and residential welfare association meets.
Oversee the localization of catalogs, marketing materials, and digital content.
Manage digital marketing initiatives for India, including social media presence and influencer collaborations.
Product Strategy & Feedback
Gather market intelligence on product preferences, pricing sensitivity, and regional design trends.
Liaise with the product development team in Bangladesh to suggest India-specific product modifications.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability across the Indian supply chain.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Build and lead a local sales and support team in India (if applicable).
Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
Ensure compliance with Indian import regulations, taxation (GST), and legal requirements.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and present monthly reports on sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and ROI of marketing spends.
Track KPIs including market share, revenue growth, and brand awareness.
Age 28 to 35 years Strong understanding of the Indian consumer psyche and regional market diversity.Established network within the Indian furniture, dealer, and architect communities (preferred).Willingness to travel extensively (100% within India).Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently in a remote or matrix reporting structure.Data-driven mindset with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
