Deputy Manager - Accounts

• Supervise and ensure smooth accounting operations of farms, hatcheries, sales offices and other business units in compliance with company policies.

• Prepare and maintain accounting transactions records, creditors and debtors control and other related accounting activities.

• Responsible for managing cash operations, such as: expenses payable, maintenance of maximum and minimum balances, cash verification and recording, etc.

• Prepare and analyze monthly budgets, fund requisitions and financial performance reports.

• Ensure proper control, recording and physical verification of fixed assets and inventories.

• Oversee store operations to ensure adequate support for raw materials, spare parts and operational requirements.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, VAT and other regulatory requirements.

• Maintain effective relationships with banks and coordinate banking activities as required.

• Support internal and external audit activities and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.

• Prepare financial summaries, MIS reports and management reports for decision-making.

• Guide and supervise Accounts Officers and Executives to ensure efficient departmental operations.

6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in Poultry, Hatchery, Feed, Agro-based Industry, Manufacturing or Large Corporate Organizations.Good knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, tax, VAT and regulatory compliance.Experience in inventory accounting, receivables management and fund control.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiency in ERP systems and office applications.
