Job Context
Smart Distribution (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a sincere, skilled, and responsible Cost Accountant / Inventory Controller to manage inventory records, raw materials costing, stock reconciliation, and overall inventory control operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and reporting systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain daily inventory records and raw materials stock updates
Monitor raw materials receiving, issuing, and stock balance reconciliation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and cost reports
Calculate material consumption, stock variance, and cost analysis reports
Ensure accurate physical stock matching with accounting/system records
Maintain proper documentation of inventory and store transactions
Coordinate with Accounts, Purchase, Production, and Management departments
Update inventory and costing data using MS Excel and reporting formats
Assist management during stock audits and internal control procedures
Ensure proper storage, handling, and monitoring of raw materials
Support management with inventory planning and cost optimization
Age 22 to 35 years Experience Requirements2 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory control, or industrial store management Experience in manufacturing/factory environment will be considered an advantage Additional RequirementsStrong knowledge of MS Excel and inventory reporting Good understanding of cost accounting and stock calculation Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized Honest, hardworking, and capable of working under pressure Good communication and reporting skills
