Job Context
We are looking for a responsible, skilled, and detail-oriented accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of a reputed hotel in Cox’s Bazar.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of hotel accounting, cash management, daily revenue reporting, VAT & Tax, and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounts, cash book, ledger and financial records.
Prepare and maintain payment, receipt, journal and other accounting vouchers.
Monitor daily sales, revenue, collection and expense records.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform daily cash reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
Verify hotel bills, purchase bills, invoices and supporting documents.
Maintain purchase, expense, inventory and supplier records.
Prepare monthly accounts and management reports.
Assist in payroll and other finance-related activities when required.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
Handle VAT & Tax-related documentation and compliance.
Coordinate with management, suppliers, banks and auditors when required.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and proper internal control of financial information.
Age At least 22 yearsOnly Male Candidates with experience in Hotel, Resort, Restaurant or Hospitality industry will get preference.Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.Practical knowledge of VAT & Tax.Good understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting.Strong numerical and analytical ability.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Honest, disciplined, responsible and detail-oriented.Ability to work independently and under pressure.Candidates residing in Cox’s Bazar District will be preferred.
