2. Position Purpose
BRAC JPGSPH is looking for a Senior Research Fellow to play a key role in advancing to the Centre of Excellence for Science of Implementation and Scale-Up (CoE-SISU) by leading quantitative and implementation research activities, supporting competitive grant development, and generating high-quality scientific publications and evidence.
The role requires strong expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, implementation research, and quantitative data analysis, along with a working understanding of qualitative research methods. The incumbent will independently lead the quantitative components of research projects including study design, statistical analysis, data management, and interpretation of findings exercising independent technical judgment on methodology and analytical approach, while seeking guidance from senior leadership on strategic, institutional, or policy-related matters.

ExperienceMinimum 5 years of progressively responsible post-master's research experience in public health, epidemiology, implementation research, health systems research, or a related field. Time spent completing a Master's or other academic degree does not count as professional experience.Demonstrated experience in competitive grant writing and proposal development.Demonstrated experience in advanced quantitative research methods and statistical analysis.Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals.Skills and CompetenciesAbility to independently make technical and analytical decisions on quantitative research methodologies while maintaining scientific rigor.Strong expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, implementation research, and advanced quantitative methods.Working knowledge of qualitative research methods and experience in mixed-methods research.Advanced proficiency in R, Stata, SPSS, SAS, or equivalent statistical software.Excellent scientific writing and publication record.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
