Job Description

Quality Systems & SOP Management

  • Finalize, implement, and continuously improve SOPs for the Quality Department aligned with Sailor’s standards.

  • Develop and maintain quality procedures across in-house, subcontract, and FOB production units.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production teams to proactively identify, assess, and resolve complex quality and compliance concerns.

  • Develop a strong 1st, 2nd and 3rd layer Quality team for improved Product Quality.

Production Quality Control

  • Define quality parameters of all materials and accessories at each stage of production and ensure compliance.

  • Ensure pre-production (PP) meetings both in-house and supplier factories with proper quality guidelines.

  • Monitor inline inspections and guide in-house production team & suppliers during production.

  • Supervise daily activities of sewing line supervisors, QS, QI, and critical operators.

  • Ensure final product quality including ironing and packing as per Sailor standards.

  • Ensure physical involvement in production floors and give solution.

Fabric & Accessories Quality Assurance

  • Conduct fabric inspections (local and imported) using standard systems and make timely decisions on non-conforming materials.

  • Ensure testing of fabric (color fastness, tearing strength, GSM, shrinkage, shade consistency, or any other test.

  • Establish and enforce quality standards for all trims and accessories

Product Evaluation & Design Feedback

  • Evaluate development and pre-production samples for quality, fit, workmanship, and risk factors.

  • Provide clear accept/reject decisions with justification to the Design Team.

Technical & Pre-Production Validation

  • Ensure pattern, marker, and alignment accuracy for all products.

  • Oversee pre-production readiness and technical approvals for in-house, subcontract and OPAC oder.

Customer Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect and analyze customer feedback from outlets and take corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

  • Visit outlets on a regular basis to evaluate product performance, collect field insights, and provide hands-on support to outlet teams in resolving quality-related issues.

Training & Development

  • Organize training programs for production on quality standards and updates.

  • Ensure continuous skill development of quality personnel.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare and maintain DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for in-house subcontract and OPAC orders.

  • Conduct monthly KPI review meetings with relevant stakeholders.

  • Develop supplier-wise quality database and grading system.

  • Prepare analytical reports for senior management highlighting trends, risks, and improvements.

Job Requirements

Age At least 35 years Excellent Communication & Coordination.Preferable work experience in Woven Top & bottom items.Experience in Data Analysis and reporting.Managing quality manuals, SOPs, work instructions.
