Location: CARE Bangladesh Dhaka Office
Duration: Duration of the contract will be up to April 30, 2027.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in M&E/MIS, covering both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, humanitarian and development programming, particularly in gender, social norms, youth, climate justice, and women’s empowermentDemonstrated hands-on experience with MEAL frameworks, OCAT, and capacity development of CBOs/CSOs.Proven expertise in RDBMS tools, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server, including experience in developing mobile-web and offline Android applications.Strong experience in designing and implementing M&E and MIS tools, systems, and methodologies.Practical experience using handheld/mobile data collection devices, particularly in rural contexts.Proven skills in statistical and M&E software, including SPSS, MS Access, and Advanced Excel (essential).Proficient in GIS, MS Access, Advanced Excel, and MS Word, with the ability to independently operate these tools and train others.Strong capabilities in data collection, processing, analysis, synthesis, and interpretation.Experience in conducting MIS-related training to support field-level system implementation.Solid understanding of ICT applications in development programming.Clear knowledge and understanding of social and gender norms within the Bangladesh context.Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to coordinate and manage complex working relationships, including matrix-managed teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels on complex or sensitive issues.Strong commitment to accountability, social justice, gender equality, and CARE Core Values.Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively as a team member. Willingness and ability to work in stressful environments, travel frequently, and stay in field locations as required.
