Job Description / Responsibility
- Position Description: BAIUST solicits applications for full time Faculty for the Dept of English. The successful candidate should be able to
- Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize students' learning.
- Ensure that teaching content is appropriately informed by current research.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the Department's programs.
- Work in accordance with University policies and procedures to undertake assessment of students' work.
- To contribute to research through high quality publications.
- Carry out specific departmental roles and functions as may reasonably be required.
- Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
Educational Requirements
Four-year honours with Masters Degree from a reputed University. Must have achieved at least 03 x First Class/Div/A Grade in the entire educational curriculum.
Job Requirements
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Bengali.
- Candidates with M Phil Degree and having publications will be given preference.
Salary Details
An attractive package based on the qualifications and experience as per University Service Rules.
