• Type of Contract : Regular Position of the Project; Initially for one year
• Location of Posting : Rangpur with regular travel to project locations
• S/he will be reportable to the Project Manager and work in close coordination with team, other managers and field office management.
• Job Summary: Field coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring overall field activities, maintain liaison with partners and project team in coordination with Project Manager.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Coordinate, manage, monitor and support field team for facilitating project activities effectively and efficiently;
• Prepare implementation plan, schedule consultation with private sector partners and project team;
• Maintain liaison with partners' consultation with project team;
• Assist in conducting activities by the project partners;
• Oversee and maintain automated weather stations in field;
• Maintain project expenses and control over finance and admin in field;
• Participation in coordination meeting, report preparation, etc.;
• Any other specific areas of responsibilities shall be assigned from time to time by the manager.

Educational Requirements

Masters preferably in Agriculture/ Agri-Economics, Disaster Management, Social science from reputed University;

Experience Requirements

At least 5 year(s)

Job Requirements

• Incumbent must have at least 5 years of relevant job experience with reputed NGO, INGO and/or donor funded project with experiences on climate change adaptation, food & non-food value chain development project and weather index insurance will be given preference;
• Experience and skills in formation of farmers groups, conduct need based assessment, follow up farmer's practices in crop production;
• Proven skills in dealing with private, public, NGO sector in agriculture;
• Experience in collecting field data and prepare project reports;
• Good computer skills on MS Office (word, excel, power point) and emailing;
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla;
• Excellent Interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team; and maintain the targets and deadlines.
